Somehow, girls can getaway with an all pink room, hot pink car, and even dye their small dogs pink without any criticism. So when it comes to nails, there isn’t an exception. Pink is not usually a common color for flower nail designs, but this look has an Asian artistic feel about it that makes it both pretty and relaxing. This article will show you how to do flower nail designs using two shades of pink and a hint of black for contrast.

To start, dump out your makeup bag and find a sheer, baby pink nail polish. Every women should have at least one bottle because this color often comes in makeup kits or nail kits that you purchase from local convenience stores. Paint your nails with 2 coats of sheer nail polish. The sheerness will give your flower nail designs a lovely shimmer. Next, create two black lines at the base of your nail. One line should be longer than the other because it will make your flowers look more realistic. Then repeat the process, but this time, draw two black lines that extend from the tip of your nail.

Now, it is time for the finishing touch for your easy flower nail designs. Pick a nail shade that is soft, but opaque. The color should be slightly darker than the sheer pink you selected in the beginning. At the base of your nail, create 4 pink dabs around one of the black lines you drew earlier. The dabs should be petal-like and look like a small flower. Now, create 2 pink dabs at the end of the other black line. Next, add 1 or 2 small dabs or even just dots at the end of the black lines at the tip of your nail. Finish your flower nail art design with clear nail polish and you’re done!
